ALIVE!
Let me start by answering a few questions that might have entered our readers heads:
No, we are not dead, or in the process of dying.
No, we have not gone away to some far away place.
No, we are no more busy that we normally are at this time of year.
Yes, our computer and internet connection is working fine.
What then has kept us from keeping you up to date? Nothing in particular. Nothing extra exciting or out of the norm. We have just been doing what we normally do each day at the usual time in the usual way. OK, now we can start filling you in on the latest news that might be of some interest. Unfortunately, because I am still at the mercy of one of my siblings (who we will keep nameless to protect his/her reputation) to post photos, this will be a word only post. I know, perhaps I should learn to do it myself, and so I will...Someday!
We received a financial gift from our Uncle and Aunt to purchase a jersey cow. Thus our little farm grows one animal at a time. We have already been saving money by not needing to purchase milk and the health benefits are outstanding as well. Having a cow (her name is Ruby) is an answer to prayer that none of us imagined would come to pass so quickly and in such a way. What a blessing for us to behold the hand of the Lord in even the little things of life!
Next, Dad is endeavoring to plant a church in our area. So far it has been a small beginning but we have great hopes for the future. Our prayer is to glorify the Lord in every step we take and that we will be a help to the body of Christ at large as well as locally.
Nathan, Katherine and Brandon, set out on a journey to Alabama to witness a political event. Former Justice Roy Moore is running for governor. They had the opportunity to hear him speak and had the chance to visit with our friends, the Linton family. They were also able to stay with our Uncle Bob, Aunt Wendy, and cousin Grayson for the week. The atmosphere was different around here. That same week, Dad took Anthony and Jonathan to work at a ranch three hours south of us, so the house was rather empty compared to normal. Everyone was sorely missed but cooking was a "piece of cake"!!!
We have entered some choir rehearsals into our schedule in the past few weeks as well. The four eldest of us have begun singing in a newly formed ensemble that is preparing a concert for the Christmas season. Our voice instructor is wonderful and we are immensely enjoying every bit of this learning experience. Anthony, Jonathan, Kristalyn and Brenton are a part of a home-school choir I am instructing. We also are preparing for the Christmas holiday season. Singing is such a delight and it is a glorious way to praise our King. May He look upon our efforts and be pleased with the results :)
I guess that's it for now, other than the fact that everyone continues to grow, Grow, GROW! Christian Valor is now six months old and as cute as a button. He can roll over, sit up and eat yogurt now! He continues to delight the Huber household as we enjoy his smiles and giggles and watch his sweet personality develop. Praise the Lord for children...They are the sweet aroma of our lives!

Hello Huber family!
How exciting it is to hear how the Lord continues to bless your family in every way. A COW, how FUN, and may I ask who milks the cow? God's richest blessings!

Well well. We were glad to here that everything is proceeding normally in the southern midwest! I too am curious about who milks the cow! If it is anything like a goat (that just "happens" to preform a textbook snap-kick into your full milking pail), it will be a great teacher of patience!

Anthony and Jonathan are our FAITHFUL cow milkers and chore men. Although Nathan and Kath found themselves milking for the first time when
the rest of the children were with Nikkae for choir, cello lessons and errands and not making it back until late. It was quite a sight to behold but they hung in there and( sort of) successfully got the job done. Needless to say, Ruby wanted to break them in by kicking the pail. :[
