Hurricane Rita
The Huber family is experiencing a bit of "excitement" of late. A category four Hurricane is due to hit some coastal areas as well as Houston this weekend. Due to the possible danger of the hurricane, San Antonio is welcoming evacuees with open arms. We still have many homeless folks from the catastrophe in New Orleans and now even more from our own state. I believe every Hotel is booked. Since we are to be hit with a bit of a storm as well, Mom and I set out to purchase extra water. We looked high and low yesterday at Wal-mart, HEB, Sams and Target without success. Everyone seems to be getting ready just in case. Parking lots were packed at many grocery stores and it was crazy trying to shop...waiting for a cart, standing in line and so on :) Oh well, memories were made!
We are hosting a family from the Rockport area and there is a possibility of another from Houston. Our hearts ache for those who are camped out at a local mall and for the many needs around us. The people of San Antonio seem to be very hospitable...the friendly south I guess :) Anyway, I wanted our readers to know what's going on around here.
Please pray for those whose lives will never be the same. Pray for the many souls who don't know Christ as their Lord. And please lift us up as we hope to minister not only to those of the household of faith but to those whose hearts are troubled about this ordeal as well. May God be glorified!

Hubers,
There is plenty room up in St. Louis for any evacuees . . . and there are no hurricanes. : ) Seriously though, you are all in our prayers as you minister in the Lord's name.
