Memories
Finally, here are the promised photos from our Califonia trip last week. The first one is of a hike we enjoyed with the Parish "kids". Left to Right...
Jeremy, Max, Kendra (Daniel's wife), Daniel, Kaylianna, Simon, Sally and Katherine.
The rest were taken at the beach with the exception of Jeremy reading to Kaylianna.
ENJOY :)
Taking a break on the trail
Farewell to the beach
It's been a big day
Rest and relaxation
Pretty enough for a painting

Cute pictures Nikkae! I just wish you could of been in the last one with Sally and me. Then the picture could of been completed.

Perhaps, but then I wouldn't get the credit for the photography job :) You and Sally look sweet together. Ah, the ocean...there's no place like it!

Aren't blogs great? Sisters can communicate miles apart!

Yes indeed. In fact computers are great. I have been doing a lot of e-mailing as well. What is the point in folks being anonymous? My curiosity always gets the better of me!

I say, you have impeccable planning Nikkae. Jeremy just "happened" to be wearing his Texas shirt for one of the photos! Keep in mind though, it is only because we live in California that we allow such disloyalties to be diplayed on our garments! :)

Disloyalties indeed! Didn't anyone ever tell you that EVERYONE loves Texas, regardless of their current state of residence?

lol...'tis true! Everybody here in Virginia has a strong love for Texas...and some of them have never been there! ;-)

Sorry, but not "EVERYONE" loves Texas. Texas has its place, but "love" is too strong a word for this resident.
Nice pics, anyway. Looks like ya'll had fun.

Just a quick question Timothy, if you do not have a "love" for Texas, than why are you having your family move all the way down here?
Just curious.

While most of us are indeed impressed with Texas, I have heard that the folks from Alaska have considered splitting into two seperate states thereby making the proud Texans part of only the third largest state... a truly humbling prospect for most Texans. :)

I'll let you figure that one out for yourself.

Hey Hubers,
Thanks for posting. Looks like Nikkae and Katherine had a great time in California among friends. We send our warmest regards and blessings.

Dear Hubers,
It has now been seven days since the Huber Family blog was last updated. Surely something transpired in the life of the Huber family worthy of a blog post during that time (perhaps you could share the reason Anthony and Brenton stayed home this past Sunday?). At least you could have informed your readers that the Cardinals lost three times in the past week.
Anyway, this blog reader is calling for an update. And I quote: "Those who have blogs should blog."

Kudos on the update, and on the decision to break the five picture rule.

*ahem*....*ahem*
I now understand that 3 young ladies, aged 15-21, ate all the chocolate in the house over a 2 night period...after everyone else was dreaming in their beds.
I further understand that while the Huber girls were in California, there was an ice-cream conspiracy at the Parish house...a deliberate attempt to prevent the poor deprived father of one outstanding joy in life.
However, it backfired, as it also deprived these same three girls of that same joy in life.
I hope this lesson will be well learned.

Wait a minute...as I remember, we were helped by you with our chocolate eating endeavors on both occasions! As to the ice cream, depriving someone of that pleasure would not be our idea, we love it too much :) Perhaps eating less junk would resolve all future "conflicts".

Yes...yes...I did help eat chocolate...openly at the dinner table.
But...as I suggested, something happened when we let down our careful guard over the chocolate.
As to the conspiracy, that was someone else's attempt to do me good. However, anyone coming between me and ice cream will...well...uh....
Well, it was all taken in good form.
