3 questions

Below are three questions for our readers to answer if you so choose. We thought this post would be of interest to all who like history and wish you could enjoy its delights personally. So take a moment, sit back and think about the following and we shall await your answers :)
(You don't need to repeat our questions on your comments, just list the answers in order.)

1. If you could spend one day (and night) in any period of history as a middle class citizen, what would you choose?
2. What person in history would you like to walk alongside for six months. (You need not share in their fate.)
3. If you could be a prominent figure in history who would you choose. Can be general or specific. (Please specify period)

Thank you for your participation. History is such a tremendous gift from our Lord. May we learn from the past so as to help us in the future.

Oh BTW, I forgot to mention that choosing our Lord Jesus as the one you would like to walk with for six months doesn't count!

I couldn't make up my mind on some of these, so I just listed two things on questions one and three.

    1. London around 1813 or in the Renaissance period.
    2. William Tyndale
    3. This one is just in general for me. A missionary or Reformer.

I didn't realize how difficult these questions would be until I answered them myself! We all just have to realize that there are too many choices but we did our best :) I am curious to see what number three will be for you Mr. Klaty.

1: Around AD70 durring the Destruction of Jerusalem (I wouldn't want to be in Jerusalem of course, just on a close mountain watching).
    2: Stonewall Jackson.
    3: Gen. Robert E. Lee

I think my answers would change day-to-day, depending on what I'm reading, and how I'm feeling! :-)

    Right now:
    1. Day 7 - Garden of Eden (life's been a little stressful of late!)

    2. Johann Sebastian Bach (I've been teaching piano lessons)

    3. This one has me stumped! I'd probably end up choosing one of our many godly American heroes. But it would be interesting to be an inventor or scientist. Or maybe a hymnwriter, like Isaac Watts... Hmm. It's a good thing God chose name, place, and purpose for me, or the decision might never be made! :-)

    1. The Reformation. Perhaps listening to Luther's debate with Dr. John Eck.

    2. The Apostle Paul or Stephen.

    3. Good question...probably C. H. Spurgeon, or one of the Reformers.
