Fellowship
We are grateful to the Lord for sparing the Springer family's home town from the hurricane this weekend. They have already made it back to Rockport safe and sound. We enjoyed having them here, though we still think their visit was too short! We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for using what appeared to be a tragic circumstance to bring our families together for a wonderful time of fellowship and encouragement.
As far as an update on our storm situation here in Floresville, we didn't get a drop of our much needed rain due to the fact that hurricane Rita swung more to the northeast. There are many people who have lost their homes and though we don't know them personally, they still need our prayers as they work to reestablish themselves in the coming months.
The following photos are of our full weekend. Some members of both our families took a trip to the Alamo and the rest of our time together was spent relaxing right here at home.
Enjoy!

Praise the Lord, that you could help a family in need. Looks like you all had a great time getting to know each other.

Caleb, we lost count a long time ago but we never get tired of reading and learning more. It actually is a great excuse to take time out to go back every time we get visitors. :)

Is it possible? Could it be? Did the tour guides at the Alamo decide to indenture the Hubers as a permanent tour team? And perhaps the Alamo doesn't have an internet connection to allow the Hubers to post their latest news? :)
Just a little joviality there! Hope all is well.
