Benjamin's birthday.

On the 24th of July was a very special occasion for us. Benjamin Robert turned 10 years old.

We can't believe how fast time flies! He LOVES to read and is always ready to learn

Jonathan did a fantastic job of the castle! He thought it all up and didn't even look at a picture.

To start the day off he requested coffee cake for breakfast. Dad and mom took him into town for an outing so the rest of us could make his castle and decorate the table. We converted the dining room into a castle and made the inside of it look like King Benjamin Robert's birthday banquet.

Benjamin wanted lemon everything for his birthday so I made a lemon poppyseed cake and lemon ice. We also made homemade ginger ale.

What a splendid evening we had celebrating Benjamin's birthday.
