Happy Birthday Mom!

We are grateful for our mother and all the years God has given her to us! For her birthday I wrote a poem in her honor...Happy Birthday Mom!

~ MOTHER ~

O blissful state, O peace of mind
When loving mother one does find

With arms for hugs and heart of love
'Tis glorious blessing from above

O'er cradle bending through each night
While others sleep all snug and tight

And as we grow she guides our way
Praying, hoping our steps won't stray

Mother's love is joy and sorrow
Tears are wept for our tomorrow

Plans are made as we do grow
She's always trusting that we'll know,

Of Christ's redeeming love so dear
And to Him that we should draw near

"Mother, in life I shant forget
How I am ever in your debt

For such a life of selflessness
How can I show my gratefulness?

I strive to learn and watch your ways
So that such lessons with me stays

I pray that I may ever be
A mother as you are to me!"
