Events of the Day

It's the time of year that most folks get sick in one way or another...there are preventative ways to try and pass over the plague but no guarantee of not getting it. It's a part of winter, the product of a busy holiday schedule. Lack of sleep, too much junk food, lots of parties...fun but deadly :)

Yesterday I walked in the living room to a "hospital set-up". All the youngsters in our family were gathered round to hear Kristalyn read. She later told me that she might like to get sick as well so that others could be her nurse! She is always so good to take care of everyone in need around her.



Today, Anthony and Jonathan had the pleasure of doing one of their favorite pastimes, hunting! They went the the Arrow S. Ranch and enjoyed the afternoon with Rocky & Riley Roberts and Brian Jackson. Anthony's triumph was the boast of a 6 point buck...what a kill! Mom and Justin spent time with Kathy Jackson during the hunt.





Today also held some educational and social fun for the girls. We went to Emma Valine's home to learn to knit. Unfortunately the camera was forgotten at home so we don't have any pictures to document our day. "Thanks Emma, you were a great teacher!"

That's it for now folks! Stay tuned for more...I'm on a role. I'm even going to try and get other family members to write as well :)
