Republican BBQ
On Sunday Katherine, Anthony, Jonathan and myself were invited to help out with a fundraising event for the Republican party of Bexar county. It was alot of fun being around fellow Republicans where we could share a similar thought process on our political priorities! :) I thought it was ironic that we were serving BBQ with white new T-shirts! I did manage to get through the day without spilling anything on mine though....can't really say that for the rest of the group :) As always at events like this we had the opportunity to meet many of the local candidates that are running for office in November! Keep these people in your prayers as they work hard for the next 2 weeks to be elected. I am sure many of them would appreciate any help or time you could give if you felt a burden to help in the area of politics!

Looks like fun, y'all!! :-)
And also it's so encouraging to see that y'all are fellow McCain/Palin supporters! :-) Not many "conservative" Christians are! It's nice not to be entirely alone! *grin*
Blessings,
Jessica

I had fun that night!! I want to do more for Weston Martinez. He seems like a really good guy! I've actually have asked a few of my friends what district they live in to see if they can vote for Weston.
God Bless,

Hey Jessica! Glad you are on the McCain/Palin ship! We will just keep on praying that our other friends come around and become true conservatives :) Hey do you get to vote this year?

lol. Precisely. :-D
I actually just barely got to vote this year. I thought I wouldn't be able to because I wouldn't be 18 by the 30 day deadline to register. But thankfully I was informed about "Grace Days" where you could register and vote at the same time if you hadn't been able to register before. So I was very much delighted! :-)
God Bless!
Jessica
