Austin Trip
This last weekend Katherine and I had a wonderful opportunity to attend the Texas Restoration Project. This 2 day conference was geared toward pastors and church leaders in the state of Texas but of course we always tend to find our way around any political type event (even if we are the youngest people attending by 20 or more years). We were able to hear many good speakers including Bob McEwen, Gov Huckabee, David Barton and the Governor of the great state of Texas, Rick Perry! As always we learned a ton and had great dinner time discussions. Our prayer is that we would be able to use what we learned and go out and advance God's agenda here on earth! Thank you Gale and Weston for the wonderful opportunities and all you do to keep us up to date with everything!
After the event Katherine and I had a few hours to kill before we headed to a football game Friday evening so we decided to visit the State Capitol.

Katherine tried not to do too much of this, but I caught her one of the times! :)
We all must have liked our group, because all of us went back to the same seats every meal. :)
Pictures I took in my "free time". :)
Okay you non-Texans! This is our State Capitol.
The Senate
The House of Representatives
The Supreme Court

Looks like y'all had a blast! haha... and it was partially my fault that Katherine was texting since I texted her first :)
Glad to see pictures!! I'm thoroughly convinced that the Texas Capitol is the most amazing one in the nation... maybe even better than the US Capitol...but perhaps I'm a little biased. :D

Heeey, I went to the Capitol last month on my vacation. It was so fun sneaking into the private offices… I went into the Governors’ Reception room or whatever it's called... pretty cool. I also did a waltz on the huge Star that’s in the center of the room. It was so fun. :D

P.S. Did y'all see Santa Anna's Chair? It was in the library just stuck in a corner. I thought it was really neat to be able to see and touch it.

Wish there would have been room for three! Looks like a blast...all the people you met, food to eat, fellowship to share and best of all, BROTHER/SISTER TIME! I'm jealous :)
The capitol is beautiful...good picture taking! Praise the Lord for such amazing opportunities.
