... and more!
Here's round three in blogger updates! Two more events to fill you in on.
First of all was an English Country Dance practice that we had up in Fredricksburg two weeks ago. We are trying to hone our skills a bit more so the dance floor isn't so full of comical scenes! It went so well...everyone did a fabulous job. With a few more practices like this one, we'll be looking as good as the dancers on the movies :) Due to a location problem that arose, we almost were unable to get together... the day was saved thanks to Cody Carnett who offered an empty warehouse free of charge for our use! Everything turned out lovely.
Next happening took place last week. Three IBLP seminars were held all at once. The Basic, Advanced and Anger Resolution Seminars. Brandon, Anthony and Jonathan attended the Basic for the first time while Katherine and I worked in the Children's Adventure program. If you've ever attended a Children's Institute put on by IBLP, it's similar to that only it was organized and marvelously put together by the Cone family. We had a blast to say the least. My group was made up of my siblings and other kids I knew while Katherine's group were mostly all new acquaintances! What a joy it was to serve all week with some of the most incredible young people I've ever met! They were a constant encouragement and inspiration from the oldest to the youngest.
Well, that's it...I actually think I'm pretty well caught up on blogging. I'll try to do bettter in the future. Don't give up on us...stay tuned :)
P.S. Just in case you're wondering about the crazy pics on the bottom with us in costume...we were in one of the many skits that week...definitely having way too much fun!

I think I like the three in a row thing, it really keeps me up to date. :) And yes, the costume pic is very funny... I really like the cotton balls on Katherine's head. :)

Looks like some great times with family and friends! The last several from IBLP bring back memories for me of when I taught for our local home school Adventures in Character children's program. It was similar to The Character First! program but it ran concurrently with the workshops for parents during the home school convention.
Thanks for sharing about your recent happenings along with all the fun pics! I love the creative costumes. :)
Looking forward to seeing you all in less than 4 weeks! An e-mail will be forthcoming with finalized plans.
