Riding Horses

With the crazy schedule lately, I thought it would be nice to get out on the horses and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Promised Land in Floresville. I actually decided to get on one of the horses and asked Anthony to take me out on the hills for a ride. That may not seem like much, but I haven't been on a horse in over 30 years! I don't know what got into me but it was very refreshing and delightful to be with Anthony riding horses. We saw two deer and heard the noise of a herd of wild pigs. The next day Katherine and Kristalyn were escorted out on horseback by Anthony. It is nothing for all our guys to ride horses but we girls are a little timid to say the least! Thank you Anthony for the fun time and helping us to learn how to be better riders. Thanks to Jonathan too for helping to saddle up the horses to get them ready and for taking care of the horses when we came back by taking the saddles off and hosing and brushing the very hot and tired horses :) Thanks also guys for giving rides to the little ones too. We love and appreciate all you do for us!

    This is Plymouth Rock waving to Promised Land! Long time no see :(

    How fun to go riding! It's been about 27 years for me - and I used to show horses. Somehow getting married and having babies kept me off of horses. Maybe someday we'll get a horse or two.

    You looked great up there :)
