A Glimpse Into Our Farm Life
Justin helping Jonathan gather and wash the eggs. :)
Supper anyone? Yes we, or should I say Anthony and Jonathan, butchered a rooster for dinner the other night. It actually was good just a little chewy. :)
We are rejoicing in God's provision for us. Our road leading up to the drive desperately needed to be mowed because the weeds and bushes were growing over so thick that the cars were starting to get scratched. One morning our Pastor and his friend showed up at the house offering to loan us a tractor to use. What an answer to prayer! We are so grateful to Pastor Clements for his loving-kindness to our family and to Sam Hurt for his generosity in loaning us his newly purchased tractor and teaching us how to use it. Wow! What love to the brethren to loan something of such value to a family he didn't even know! Thank you Lord for showing your love to us through your people.

Seeing those pictures of the butchering brings back memories of a time that we butchered 13 chickens in one day! We were well tired of it by the end... and yes the chicken was a little chewy. :)
(we don't actually own chickens, thought)
