Anthony's piano recital
Today we all loaded up the van with everyone and went to San Antonio to hear Anthony play in his recital. We were all excited to go and hear Anthony because it had been almost seven years since he had taken lessons in IL. Ever since we moved to Texas Anthony has had a deep desire to continue his piano lessons but he has had to wait until this last year to start up again. We are very grateful to Nikkae for signing him up this spring and even using her own money to get him started. So today was a very special treat for all of us...and he did a beautiful performance, too! Great work Anthony!

Wedding Day at Troldhaugen Op.65, No 6 by Edvard Grieg. Anthony started working on the song for me. I have always wanted to play that song so I asked Anthony to bring it to his teacher and ask if he could start working on it. Several weeks later he played it for his recital! Of course Anthony did a fantastic job! We all loved listening to him play! :)

You did beautifully Anthony! I'm so thrilled you are working hard...I can tell a vast improvement since I last heard you play. Your song was the most delightful & entertaining of the whole recital...I loved it!
