"He is Risen"
Happy Easter! Today is the day Christians celebrate the blessed resurrection of our Lord. Have you ever reflected on the amazing grace that has been bestowed on us as children of the King of Kings? We serve a living Lord, One who died, was buried, and rose from the dead! Now that's something to live for.
This week our family participated in two concerts celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The group we are involved with is called Jubilate Deo Youth Orchestra and Chorale. The first venue was held at the Community Center in Boerne and the second at Jelly Stone Trailer Resort near Cannon Lake. The Lord greatly blessed the performances. All the singers and players did a fabulous job blessing many people through their dedicated efforts. There was a senior choir and orchestra, a Junior choir and orchestra and a beginners choir and orchestra, as well as a special ensemble and choral reading group that presented the account of Christ's death, burial and resurrection. This semester we have made many new friends through this organization as well as had the privilege of weekly seeing "old" ones. What a joy it has been to worship the Lord together...any members of the group reading this post, "great job"! Working with you was fabulous. :)
